Front page of a newspaper called City A.M. dated Wednesday, April 3, 2019. The main headline reads "SLAMDUNK, SUPERDRY BOARD TORN TO SHREDS AS FOUNDER WEAVES HIS WAY BACK TO THE TOP OF THE CLOTHES BRAND". There is a large picture of Jeremy Corbyn, a British politician, wearing a dark coat and glasses. The top section features a smaller headline about a square mile planning committee verdict, with an image of the Gherkin building. At the bottom, there are sections on life and style, opinion, and sport, covering topics like meditation, MPs showing no mercy, and Formula 1.

Our work with

  • Investor Relations

    Media strategy and engagement

  • We have worked with Superdry as a close partner over the last six years. In 2019, we created and ran a six-month, full media, city and investor communications campaign for Julian Dunkerton to enable him to rejoin the Board and win back control of his company. We subsequently managed the Investor Relations function for Superdry.

In 2024, we were part of a team that included Teneo, Rothschilds, and Debevoise & Plimpton, guiding the business through its delisting from the London Stock Exchange and managing its external communications during the implementation of the Restructuring Plan. Today, we continue to serve as Superdry’s strategic communications advisor as the company looks to the future.

  • Following an Extraordinary General Meeting in April 2019, Julian Dunkerton won the shareholder vote, backing his return to the Superdry board and was installed as CEO.

We continue to work strategically with Julian today, recently supporting him with the PLC’s delisting from the London Stock Exchange and managing Superdry’s External Communications and Julian’s personal media profile.

In 2024, Julian was included within the top ten list of PRWeek’s UK’s best communicators of 2024, “honouring people who have risen in prominence or significantly enhanced their reputations this year due, at least in part, to their communications prowess.”
